Has anyone on here have pics of what they did for thier worn out door pannles inside your rig, any custom ones guys? Thanks

> Giving the ol 79 some TLC ya know!

on my old 79 i just scrubbed em with cleaner and a light sanding and pianted em. the piant filled in the scratches and the door panels and dash turned out real nice. if you paint use vinyl paint. reg. paint wants to flake

Any one else? I`d like to do something to mine too , besides just painting them.

I have a custom interior shop next to work that will do new door panel for about 100 a piece. Kind of pricey, but they would be covered in leather, and would replace the two piece carpet and plastic. Not sure if I am going to go with them, or if I will just replace with the LMC set. LMC has the 79 OEM style for about 159 for the set, but that doesn't include the pockets, door handle pads, or pretty much anything else. My 80 has the Silverado and the aluminum is a little dented, and my panels are totally shot. I would be curious to see what others have done for custom panels.

I kept everything pretty much stock...put in some sound deadening material and diamond plate aluminum. Personally, I think it's simple, pretty tough and looks nice.
