Do you have to take the 203 out or can you install the chain while it is still under the truck?
It can be done in the truck. A few tips is once you get the tail housing off put a radiator clamp on the output shaft to keep the top chain gear from moving and letting any of the 120+ roller bearings from coming out /forums/images/icons/smile.gif You have to remove the chain section of the case to do this. It's a pain. The roll pin for the locking coller is also entertaining. An extra set of hands to help hold the chain when you hang the rear housing is nice.
All said an done...yeah it's probably still easier than having to remove the whole case. If you got a body lift it makes it a little easier.
