I have a old fasttrack softtop made by kline I think. It requires me to only drill on the tail gate. I really don't want to drill any where. Anyone here made som fabrication to prevent the drilling of the tailgate?

I thought about this quite a bit, and the simple way to do it is refrigerator magnets. Just attach a single magnet into the rear window canvas. Should provide enough strength to keep the top closed unless the windows are wide open up front. The Soft Topper ones that recently came out don't require drilling on the tailgate, but I haven't seen one up close to know how they did it.

They aren't the same top, Kayline is out of business. There is another company called Soft Topper(I believe) that has started making 3rd Gen tops and is supposed to be working on 2nd gen as well. Their tops require no drilling into the body according to the website. If you go back a couple of days here in the garage there was a post about them, I believe it was asking who had gotten one.

I'm probably gonna order one of the Soft Topper tops for my 3rd gen this week. I will try to get some pics up when I do.
I had someone send me a few different pics of the new soft top, but I don't want to throw someone else's pics on the web.
