Showing them how the big boys play.......
You will be quick to notice that the Iranians are keeping their distance.
I'm sure they don't want their entire navy (however small) sitting at the bottom of the persian gulf.
I'm willing to bet that if SHTF over this little British incident, then a lot of Britains who aren't crazy about our war in Iraq will be very happy that they are on our side.
You know they have to be sitting there saying "FOCK"........we don't want any part of that.
And its only the NAVY, no disrespect to the Navy intended.
Simultaneous French operations
A French naval strike group, led by the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, was operating simultaneously just outside the Gulf. But the French ships were supporting the NATO forces in Afghanistan and not taking part in the U.S. maneuvers, officials said.
What ?,,,,were they practicing surrendering ?????
Some day I got to tour one of those carriers, any one know where that is possible?
I've toured the North Carolina Battleship, and if you haven't been through anything like that, I think it should be on the must do list.
Corpus Christie, Texas has the USS Lexington check it right here
I have seen this beauty from the shorelines and it she is remarkable.
Awe man, thats cool, its on my to do list.
Charleston, SC also has a big naval museum at Patriot's Point. The USS Yorktown is there, along with a destroyer, submarine and a USCG cutter.
Been there and toured them all, it's a must see.
