Is it worth going to a fuel cell?

I have noticed my factory gas tank has started to leak. It has a bad sending unit so replacing the entire tank wouldn't be that big of a problem. Is it worth going to a fuel cell? The prices seem to be comparable.
Just looking for some advantages/disadvantages.

for me it will be an advantage cuz my tank is completely surounded by the hitch(the stock one).and it's gettin ugly /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif
