is this a good deal..need input please

I went by the local race car shop (guy who build stock cars and modifieds) and talked to him about getting a cage done.I dont wanna do it myself.I dont know what is a good deal and what is not.He told me for a 6 point (door,winshield,rear hoop,rear bars and an x in the back 700 installed...he told me if i went crazy and built one to the max like 1500..is this a good deal...does anyone have pics of their cage..simple to complex...just trying to get some help...HELP

If he is using DOM then I would say its a good deal. It is still not a bad deal with HREW.

im preety sure it is dom..its whatever he uses to built race car chasis with...but he said his tubing bender would only bend up to like 1 inch and a...i cant remeber what is the usuall size...any pics of yours need pics..

1 inch won't cut it. Needs to be at least 1 5/8's or 1 3/4's.

Preferably 1 3/4's.

most of the race car shops around here use 1.75" .095 wall HREW. its not stuff i would want to run in my heavy truck.

ive never priced out a cage, so im not sure on the price. i will build my own.

hmm hes in richmond? i might have to take my rig down there to have him hook me up with a cage too let me know how it turns out

not interested in building my own...dont have the tools,time,reasorces,and bescides no idea what im doing...im not doing any stuff on rocks just some hill clibling,trail riding,and mud....preety much for bragging rights but just in case...
