OK...my day to post questions I suppose ( read, it's dead a work for spring break ).
Q. My K5 has many miles on it's 24 yr old 305. Several drippy places. Have opportunity to pickup 90 model SBC ( another 305 ) complete oil pan to distributor, including wires, plugs, intake, carb AND a complete serp belt setup with all pumps etc, flex plate and dampener.
The plan would be for this to get me along until I save for the next year for a real 350 motor setup.
OH the price? $200.00 local have it within two days. Mileage unknown, not locked-up, used for mockup work, owner willing to drop oil pan for inspection.
I'm figuring the serp stuff is worth the $200.00
