Well, after looking at the pics again, I'm not 100% sure it is, the rear springs look like they are 1/2 or 3/4 ton width. It doesn't have hydroboost either.

I'm not dissing on it though, its a nice truck. Need to take a few of the shocks off it and why do you need plastic "nutts" when you have a 502 inder the hood? Never quite understood that whole thing

the "K1" in the VIN says its a half ton, a 1 ton would have a "K3". still a very nice truck for the money.

Maybe someone needs to let him know he has a 1/2 ton body, looks like someone already did and he gave them the what not! hehehehehe!

What makes you think it isn't a 1 ton? Every thing points to and looks like a 1 ton. It's a bit shy of the 14" lift he claims and will have tons of problems if it ever has to go in for emission testing, but, it's a 1 ton.

Who is the person screwing with him on e-bay? Why do they say it isn't a 1 ton?

Edit: Looks like we all responded at the same time! Looking over the posts above ... wow, someone ought to tell him his VIN numbers don't match his ride. I missed the lack of hydroboost

he says he has a title that says it is a 1 ton, although the vin says 1/2 ton. i would surmise that he is not the original owner and someone has taken great pains to make it a 1 ton. it has 1 ton badges on it but no cab lights.

i got him too, basically told me i was full of poo-poo, until i mentioned the titles i have laying around, and how his wasnt consistent with a 1 ton...
