Hello,

I've been looking at these wheels, specs and link below.

Also, it says that they're not "Beadlock Functional"... can I still utilize a weld-on beadlock with them safely?

I've looked at their website plenty of times and even going minimal on options they're still out of my price range for wheels.

it says that they're not "Beadlock Functional".

Pretty sure that means the beadlock (which it doesn't have) isn't functional.

There's LOTS of wheels with faux beadlocks, in which case you'd see

Beadlock Functional: No
Beadlock Included: Yes

Make more sense?

I get what you're saying about the fake beadlocks. So this one would be compatible with a weld-on beadlock?

kirt @ diy4x does h1 rims also .

if I was to do beadlock rims I would go both beads . and h1 rims with pvc inserts do this and anre a beefy rim .

but as you said if budget to have the $$$ then it don't.

but remember Weld on bead locks need 100% weld or they will leak air.

Didn't know that Kert did them... they'll still probably be a little out of my price range and he already takes a lot of my money as it is :D. I know that the weld-on beadlocks have to be fully welded. I'm still stuck on if that specific wheel in my first post is good to go on a D60/14BFF with backspacing and such and if it's able to have a beadlock welded onto it.

A thing to keep in mind with those wheels is that 16.5 tires are notorious for loosing a bead at low pressure. With the weld on beadlock you wont loose the outer but the inner wont hold at low pressure.
If your set on those wheels look into adding a safety ring to the inner bead.

I have a pretty nice collection of H1's stashed in the corner in my shop. Probably around 30 wheels, give or take.

And yes, they're for sale.

May be the cheaper route to get a set from me and source out the centers to cut and reweld them in yourself.

Don't have welding capabilities at this time. I'm interested in your offer, PM me with details.

What would you recommend for me to tell whoever will be cutting out the centers and re welding them... any specifics for proper balancing etc.

to run stock h1 rims with no center mods or spacers on a dana 60 just use drw hub/rotors .

and in the rear van width axle or 3" bolt on spacers that lots of us have been running with no problems for years.

you better call around and find out if anyone in your area wants to or can do the rim mods . and if yes how much per wheel .

I still say it might be best bang for buck to do already done / modified h1 rims . . .

we are just trying to help steer you in the right direction from years of all of us playing and modifying and relizing what we should have done.

I prefer to use a D70HD for the wider width and lower gear selection to choose from.

Can I safely throw a 12.5" wide tire on a wheel that thin? Also, I forgot to mention that there isn't any rock crawling where I live now. They have mud... there's an OHV park here too, but it doesn't have rocks. So honestly I probably don't need a beadlock...
