Driving the K5 around constantly is killing my budget
Big difference between 13 MPG and 28 MPG.
Amen to that, but for different reasons. My truck is too nice to even take into the snow so I want it to all go away ASAP. And of course a good rain to wash all the road salt away...
I blame global warming.
Yours gets 13mpg? Damn, that's pretty good.
What makes a truck too nice to take in the snow?
I suppose it's not the snow itself that's bad, but the road salt they throw down every time it does snow. Vehicles here in the Ohio rust belt don't last long if they spend winters driving in that slop. My '73 Blazer is a 95% original time capsule in excellent condition and I want to keep it that way.
it's the salt that gets ya.they dump so much salt in Mich that a sweet rig is a POS in 3 years.
the cold is killing me,Mitch.i just got back from helping Supreme70 get his bed on and tail lights working.it was minus 1 degree when i got there.i think it made it to 13 degrees.sucky sucky
I agree. I managed to spin my front-wheel drive Cavalier earlier today making a left turn. Luckily the person next to me got around before I turned all the way around and there was no other traffic coming. I ended up running into a curb and having to back up to get to wear I could drive the proper way on the road. It was scary!
Yeh, thats why us Michiganders hate the west coast geeks with there pristine beaters.
so we all agree winter sucks????
i love living in Cali, i havent even painted my bumper in 3 years (little surface rust showing), I bet it would have fallen off if it was in Michigan.
send that snow our way, we need some!
pretty close to falling off. it rots out enough for you to need a new one. or a sandblaster that cut down a 1/4 in.to smooth the metal out again.
would you like the salt also?get the whole effect? then you can replace fenders and stuff every 3 years. its fun!!!WHOO HOO
hahahaha snow, it was between 50-65 today here lol
That'll be enough out of you, Confedneck . High today? 19F.
I think we were in the high 60's here as well today. But we did get snow last week, the last time was Easter morning '99.
I don't mind the snow so much, but the f'n frozen roads are starting to get on my nerves along with the retarded Okie drivers
