looks great, can't wait to see it on phase 2.! on your 208, any better pics? i am in the process of doing one for a blazer/ 62 willy's wagon i'm building for my dad. i have a dodge and a chevy 208 and the problem i ran into was the fluid return passage not lining up between the chevy case half and the dodge sye (the part that holds the bearing) any pics or info would be great.

i have a full right up someone on our site is doing on the whole swap...it was easy we just pulled the tailshaft piece lined up the return and tapped new holes in the chevy back half for the tailshaft...i dont have any more pics right now...i can tell you the (seems like million) snap rings that hold the main shaft in suck!!

Although I would have thrown a stepside bed on it and called it a day, it looks like a good build.

i've already done the internals, and x2 on the snap rings sucking, i was kindof stuck on the tailshaft section, but tapping new holes may be the easiest way. i think i was trying to overcomplicate it, and yes it is a easy swap over all. if you have a link to the write up i would like to check it out! thanks for the info. also what size were the swampers you had been running?

the write up isnt done yet...we just tapped the hole with a 3/8 tap its super easy cause its alum. and there is plenty of material there to tap...i was running 39s

it is but its not like theese truck arent a dime a dozen like 55chevys or something...wait till they start cutting into the body :hack:

Dang, twoslo, I enjoy reading your posts and the things you have to say but crap, my computer won't let me see pics of your build.

i can see them fine, although some are pretty big and you have to side scroll to see them, and a bunch have some message about "resized" on the top of them?

can everyone else see them ok

Sorry should have clarified. I only have my two work computers and with all the firewall chit they put on these things there is a lot I can;t to or see such as youtube vids, any photobucket or the like. etc. Sucks the big one but at least I have access to a 'puter.

i thought that truck looked familiar. truck looks sweet so far. keep up the work on it. i will be watching.

Oooo another truggy build thread count me in. Curious to see how the 4 link and 1/4 elliptical comes out
