What all gets done to the tires? Do you have any pictures?

I cut the small lugs years ago. Now they're getting grooved like this.

40ish pounds per. I would love to add some Welds to that equation.

Wow, to still lose 40 lbs with the little lugs already gone is a lot. Welds would be cool but their prices are climbing like square body trucks, crazy.

Wait, it may be 40 including the lugs

That’s still losing a total of 1/3 of the tire weight.

Next you could trim another +/- 350 lbs with a full top conversion. Just sayin…

I'm told 40ish pounds per tire. I'm definately keeping my eye out for some Welds.

The 16.5x12 Welds I sold a few months ago were 24 lbs a piece boxed up.

Got some more engine work done Saturday. The Eagle crank is balanced to under a half gram and polished, new bearings and it's torqued. File fit the rings and got the pistons in and torqued.

Update time. Engine is assembled, a few small things to do then dropping it back in.

Got this PTC 4000 stall converter going back in place of the 3500. Should free up a pony or 2.

Oil restrictors. Makes the oil drain back in the corners.
