I am just curious what kind of front suspension I have on my 85 k10. I always thought it was stock. I run 33/12.50/15's on with no rubbing. The front leaf springs only have 2 springs in them which I have never seen before. Just wondering if this is normal or if the people that owned the truck before me has done something. I am planning on getting 4" lift springs anyways. These pics dont show the springs but shows what height my truck sits at.

my 84 half ton only has two springs stock but i have seen some with three

yup..only 2!

Yup..standard equipment stock springs have only 2 leaves up front!..even my 82 K20 with a 6.2 Diesel has them!..there are HD 3 leafs available, but both versions look like they are upside down compared to most other rigs, and rear leaf springs..--its normal for them to look like they are sagging..

I hung a heavy 8' plow on all the trucks I've had, from a 71 K10 to the later 3/4 tons ,and never broke any of the 2 leafs ones..only real difference I noticed was a harder ride with the plow off with the 3 leafers..sat no higher than a 2 leaf spring did..
