just double checking my moron status....

bump for clarity:D :dunno: I don't know if itll be ok

EagleMark can clarify, but I see the TPI pumps recommended as replacements for the TBI's to ensure that fuel pressure can be maintained, so I would expect the regulator will bypass plenty to not have to worry about it.

The return line on a 305 or 350 TPI motor was the same size, same regulator everything, and the truck return line AFAIK is the same diameter as the TPI ones. Therefore, I don't see where there would be an issue with volume.

that's what got me is my return line is smaller than the feed

I guess its been done before...... but I just don't wanna chance it if im gonna burn the pump up in another year .:haha:

I probably worded that poorly...I meant that the tubing between feed and return IS different size on TPI (what is it, 3/8 and 5/16?) , I was making reference to the fact that both the TBI and TPI setups use the same size feed/return, even though the volume is obviously far less on TBI.

Now you've got me curious to see what volume you can push through that size pipe.
