Well I just stumbled upon you guys and have found a wealth of info here. I just picked up an '87 K30 with a dump bed and a 9' snow plow on it. This will be my tow rig as my wheeler is a 1988 Zuk with a VW diesel in it. The wiring is a mess in this rig since it has been hacked on by a town highway crew for 20 years but I am good with anything electrical and will have that cleaned up in no time. Other than that it runs pretty good....a little touchy until it is warmed up. It has the 465 tranny in it. We took it on a 500 mile round trip this past weekend to pull home a 4 horse trailer. Got a whole 8.5 MPG pulling it home
