in issue august 2004 of fourwheeler magazine, they have some pics of the Moabs easter jeep safari... in one of the pictures it has a olive color early k5 with a ORD sticker on the front, does anyone know anything about this k5? and it says it's "tucked" is that meaning shortening the rear tub? it says there will be coverage on it in a futre issue... anyone have info on this k5? /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Watson knows who he is, I think the guy bought a bunch of ORD cast offs for that rig. That thing is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET lookin. Can't wait to see a write up on it. Suprised the guy ain't here on CK5. Maybe he is...

oh its been so long since that post, I thought this was a new magazine truck... and it didn't have any pictures so I couldn't tell!!

Is tucked the same as bobbed?

Bobbed ususally means the tailend of the truck shortened (E.G., cut of a foot or two behind the rear fenders). Tucked refers to the fenders tapered toward the inside of the truck (like a lot of fullsize guys are doing on here). /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Yes, but narrowing would usually refer to the whole truck, not just the ends, so Fourwheeler used the term "tucked".

Not sure but I believe Yunit is literally narrowing his entire body, as well as, tucking/tapering/making it pointy on the ends. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

from what I understood from what james said is that narrowing is the whole body, like yunit is, and tapering/tucking would just be narrowing the fenders

Yes, I think he is narrowing the entire body from what I understand.

I think he is doing this also. So he will end up with a narrowed, tucked/tapered K5 body. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
