    Yes I painted mine...

    here...

I sanded mine smooth and cleaned it with xylene, and painted away.. a few light coats and then a few good ones...

I used Krylon Ultra Flat spray paint in the rattle can...

Worked good.. has held up in the HOT heat we had and the cold sh!t we have now... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I don't know if I would sand the top mine has a rough surface not a smooth one. I know there are some tops out there that are smooth. Anyway for mine I just cleaned it up good and took a spray bomb to it. It's up for two years now on one coat.
