I am in Fresno so I may end up going to Bakersfield depending on the price.
The unit in LA is much cheaper but it is also far away so alas the difference is made up for in Gas.
I was not sure as to how the round adapter vs figure 8 was in strength comparison.
If someone can bring it to me here ( Fresno California) I will pay $400.00 cash.

Wow the fact I have to travel 5 hours to get a transmission and transfer case combo is insane but worth it.
My engine is only putting out 400hp but I like to drive hard so the 400 205 combo is a must.

quicker said:Yes but I will still be looking for another sbc 400 or maybe a bb 454 because the truck has a BAR sticker for a 454 conversion... I prefer the 400 though because I don’t need to drop my mileage from 9 miles to the gallon to 5 miles per gallon.
So yes I will be looking in the near future. I know a guy in sac who has a 400 but I am not sure what its bore is..lol
My next project is my mailbox. Some kids were messing with it so I am making a sheet metal one out of 3/4 inch thick steel. I can’t wait to se the broken bat parts all around it.

I am tight on my budget right now so I needed the deal I got on the 400-205 but I cant share the price because it was not sane and I am sure the price was due to lack of interest over time. I am immediately rebuilding the 400.
So what about that SBC bore any good news?
