solid axle

hey solidaxlesub what did it cost you to do the solid axle converison i wanna do it.

not counting tires and wheels because they were 3100.00 I probably have around 4000.00 in the swap. all my ORU stuff was like 1500.00 then the hp60 was 1200.00 rebuilt the 60, another couple hundred. shocks and springs add in another 600.00 or so. then changing the exhaust, change the rear suspension was the cheapest part, figure a couple hundred. then you need to do drivelines, and I havent done lockers or deeper gears yet.

hey solidsub nice burb man.........what is involved in the exhaust change, also how many hours of labor did it take from start to finish?

all you have to do is run the exhaust down each side of the frame till after the tcase, and make sure it clears the front shackle hangers... the exhaust shop only charged me 80 bucks to have all i need done welded up

I have true 2.5" duel exhaust I figured why not if I have to change it. got rid of my cats too. I used a plug in module to fool my after cat o2 sensors. I payed a little more than 300 for my exhaust and that incudes the flowmasters. I dont know how many hours of labor, I did it in my free time, about a month from ifs to the first drive on sas.

yea i went with all 2.5" as well, but i put new highflow cats on, i had them welded to my 2.5" x-pipe
