I've been thinking for a while now that I'd either build a roof rack or maybe go the prebuilt route. I know Yakima and Thule make quite a few configurations with interchangeable attachments, but I'd like to see what you guys & gals have on your rigs before I make up my mind.

Here is the one i built for my K5. Its a halo rack and super low profile. Its mainly to keep things from sliding off and to have something to tie down too.
I just saw this in a magazine the other day. Wonder if they sell a universal one without the Jeep specific brackets. Comes powder coated and all .
Here's what I do. Cheap van style ladder rack on front and homemade hitch attachment in rear

I didn’t build this rack it came on the truck, but I like how it works so far
This is built out of 2 sizes of EMT (cheap, light, galvanized, bends with regular hand tools). A hole saw in the larger tube lets the smaller tube fit inside so there's no fishmouth or tough fittings to do.
