Currently working on installing a 4 inch spring front/4 inch shackle flip rear on my blazer....never done any of this b4, so its all new to me....but noticed on what FEW pics I could find of company-made tc-drop kits, they appear to be 1 inch tubing? Hoping some of yall might post up a couple of pics (that I can see...I know, get a membership....I had one, but got divorced this past year and lost my DD car...so I've GOT to get this K5 on the road ASAP. I'll get renewed soon, I promise)

I believe the tubing you are seeing is there from the factory, just on top of the frame rail. I don't know if all trucks had them from the factory. Both my 77 K20, and my 87 K5 did.

You may not even need to drop the t-case with a 4 inch lift.

heck back in the day on my old black truck I needed to help the rear shaft angle for vibes. Factory there where some 1" long spacers that the bolts for the crossmember went through above the frame so I just put them between frame and crossmember and it was enough to make it smooth

Most people do that.

I too would not advise a drop with a 4" lift. It makes the rear angle better, but the front is worse. I run between 5 and 6.5" lift and the Tcase is still where the factory put it.

I did that, went wheelin, hit the t-case and ripped those suckers right through the frame. If, you really need to drop the t-case, I would get some square stock and make spacers.

yeah, i ended up wrinkling the frame right there after getting hung up and pivotting the truck like a top on the crossmember
