Does anyone know who makes a 3 or 4 " lift for a 88 chevy extended cab, long bed C3500 truck? It is a 2wd truck with a 454 and a th400.

Tried calling fabtech and they do not make one.

I just want to give it a small lift and fit 33" tall tires. it is my DD and my tow rig.

Thanks
Jeff

dont be afraid to go with bigger than 4". My buddy said the same thing, ended up with a 6inch and it looked awesome. I'll see if he still has some pics somewhere

I have a 6" RCD on my 2wd '94.... Freakin' love it!! 60,000 miles without a problem. Does two duties just fine.

I think the 4" isn't enough for a 2wd....doesn't really give you an altered look. I'd recommend the 6" (specifically RCD), and you'll be happy. And it'll still be a good tow rig.

RCD does not make one either. You can find them all day long if it was a 1/2 ton, but not the 1 ton 2 wd trucks.

oh i am not afraid just cannot find any manufactures that make a lift for the truck

Fabtech spindles....

FTS-2588-7 4.5" spindle....works great by itself and no real change in Suspension "feel"
I have the FTS-2500-11 long travel kit too and LOVE it... nice and plush... easy to install, except for the coils!!!! TIme to swap ball joints and tie rod ends...add urethane boots too.
I have both of these and a 3" body lift and run surplus 37" hummer tires... I love it!!! 7'3" at the roof!
BTW, this is the same suspension as the C3500 truck. Make sure you get better brakes... at LEAST some power slots and carbon pads.
If you want, we can see if we can scare up a rear disc swap kit for our setups.... no one seems to make a good one yet... but I think DIY4x is planning one SOON!
Want pics? Just added a prerunner style tube bumper I found on eBay for $25 that was hacked off a 77 K5. A few minutes of rattle cannin' and it matched the suspension pretty well...
