Lift kit difference 1st gen vs 2nd gen

I need to lift my 76 k10 but my budget is nery tight right now. Will my 6" lift front springs from my 72 k5 fit the 76?? I'd measure myself but I'm too lazy /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

1st gen front springs are about 3" shorter than 2nd gen springs.

Rear springs are the same if you have rear lift springs they will swap.
