So here's what I am thinking for my k5. I'm thinking of skipping the whole 52/56 combo in favor of normal 4 in lift/shackle flip in the rear. I'd run a zero rate in the front, along with a 6 in shackle in the rear to end up with around 5 inches of lift. Gonna have to hack the fenders to make the 42's fit though. I'm thinking that not going crazy long travel front and rear will save me some $$$ and some headaches. I'll have plenty of ground clearance with the 42's, plus keep a lower center of gravity. I measured my old k5 with the 52's and a zero rate up front and got about 7-7.5 inches of lift vs my "new" 85. Plus I will retain the option to go long travel at a later date. At this point I have no tow rig so I'll have to drive the thing to where I want to go. Any body have a set of 4 in fronts laying around?
