any power/weight lifters in here? looking for some advise or some direction. its time for me to get back into shape. i used to lift somewhere between 2-4 hours a day, and i got in shape, but didnt really get to where i wanted to be. looking for a quick way to pack on some muscle only working out about an hour a day 4-6 days a week. dont care about losing weight, if anything id like to pack some more on. ive been reading about these heavy/hard workouts, where you lift as much as you possibly can only a couple of times. seems like the guys doing these kinds of workouts are the ones benching 700 lbs and squating 1000. granted, i dont think that ill be doing that anytime soon, but if the technique works to get to that point, it would help me reach my goals. any good websites i could visit? seems like all the ones i find want to sell me a new supplement or diet pill.
