Just a FYI regarding body sag...it isn't the body itself that sags and moves, it's the firewall/cowl that moves back and forth. Best method is actually a couple of engine bay cage tubes tied to the firewall and then down to the front frame area. Typically the weight of the doors wants to pull the firewall back over time, or under the stress of wheeling.

I could move mine forward over 1/2" by hand from inside the truck.

a good cage would help also to sturdy up the body.and also keep you and the occupants safe.looks real good.im glad mine started as a full vert.i like your alligning pin idea to help line it up.good work.

nice, let me know what u get for seals, im currently looking for 74, dont want to buy some and find out they are crap though

i bought new door window seals for my hardtop from classic parts, great condition/construction and genuine GM:D. only reason i had trouble is because my truck was thrashed in past years and nothing fits right haha. I will end up replacing all the seals eventually, and CP will probably be who I go to. my $.02

i know lmc has them too but i wasnt sure of the quality. and im not a fan of how they calculate shipping either.

well, i can attest to the quality of the ones from CP, plus i like their shipping better than LMC anyways :D

thanks man i am thinkin bout a cage but i had enough fab for a day or so.... most wheelin i may do is cross a ditch in the yard or goin to feed the cows... mostly flexin out on the local mall fountain... 6" curbs are a little tricky to climb

You could even just run some diagonal bars down to the front frame area from the firewall. Where it gets a bit annoying is when your doors don't close quite right anymore, and the hardtop doesn't seal like it should.

A cage with full vert is definitely a good plan though...imagine if you flopped it going over one of those 6" curbs? ;)

that is a good idea i will look into that cause i aint really wanting a full on cage i got the original roll bar out of the 75 but i gonna mod it to fit floor pans aint same

I got them from LMC (the seals that is) and they didn't fit quite right. They were close and with a little work you could probably make them fit perfect. If there is a better quality one out there I would try them first

i ordered the fiberglass top to body seals from lmc a while back, and they werent a good fit either, a little work and i made them work but it wasnt perfect.

Looks good, maybe one day I'll be brave enough to cut stuff on mine.

I had to google Tuscumbia... but now I see you're up near the top.:D
