lime green power steering fluid

What the heck did the last owner do? I bought the truck knowing it needed a P/S pump. So I am doing that today. Did water get in there and blow the pump? Any ideas? Should I drain the rest of the fluid? If so how do I get it out of the box? Thanks for the help in advance.

yea, if it feels like P/S fluid, I wouldn't worry

"Bar's" adds green dye to their fluid and extra red to tranny fluid...etc etc so if it drips its easier to identify, my bet is its just some bar's stop leak....must have worked if its still in there /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
