Everyone has half-shafts, axle shafts, etc. Whatever you want to call them. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Yes, I agree four more would be nice.
But then you would bitch once you broke 8pcs, they should have given you 12.
If they gave you twelve, well hell these are cheap and that's standard, they should really stand behind it with a lifetime supply!! /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif
And from the sounds of it, these pins wont break if your axles/u-joints don't fail. So even if heavier duty parts still broke, unless lockrite built them, it isn't their fault OR problem. Sounds like a very polite and helpfull sales rep told you exactly what to do, and you just didn't like his answer. Maybe they should pay you to put the pins in too? Not to be an ass or anything, but this would be the next "logical" step in an 'overdemander'.
Other than that, the first thing you have to learn about life is this: it isn't fair. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif
Lock rite probably thinks they are being fair with their warranty, it's a huge liability. You don't think they are being fair, just cuz you don't.
Not too much age on my side but I learnt YEARS ago, if Chrissy wants something Chrissy has to get it for himself, and Chrissy can expect to have to pay to keep it.
"rock on" dude! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
