whats everyones opinion on a lowering shackle used for a lift shackle with a shackle flip? im looking to gain another 2 inches, so i can take my block out, but i dont want to buy new springs

They work but it will affect 3 things. If you don't compensate for them, you will have problems.

1) shackle angle
2) pinion angle
3) driveshaft length (most cases but not necessarily yours)

I think another problem that may occur is if you tow anything, the rear will have less stability with a longer shackle in the rear AND the flip.

Too thin. The stock shackles crush when used hard. The lowering shackles crush, collapse, tear, and worse when actually wheeled with. I would go XJ (jeep cherokee) rear lift shakles first.

Here is a pic of mine and I have had 0 problems.
