Longer rubber brake line

Does anyone have the exact part number (or vehicle model/year) for longer factory style front brake lines (I think people mentioned NAPA)? This is for a K5 with 4" lift. I foolishly used the drop brake line bracket when I put on the lift, but now I want to do it right.

By the way, do the longer rubber lines still have the rigid metal tubing on the brake side to keep the line out of the tire, or are they like the braided ones that need to be tied to the shock or something?

i asked the same question a week ago and this is what someone told me, the front part numbers worked, but the napa part number for the rear didnt work for me, i dont think its the right part number-

Front brake hose:
These ones are for the left front of a 1994 2wd 1 ton and are around 25" long. $13.99 at Advance Auto. Napa wants $16.69.
Tru-Torque (Advance Auto): H38873
Napa: H38873
Bendix: 78227
Raybestos: BH38873
Wagner: F124600

Rear brake hose:
Napa #4138068. It is $13.99

Thanks. It's weird you say the left side. Is the right side of a 1994 2wd 1-ton a different length? Should I really get two lefts and put one on my right side?

I was talking about the list of equivalent part numbers above that. It was not stated what vehicle it is for. Either way, nobody had it, and nobody could even order it. Sheesh.

I personally would go with braided steel break lines instead of rubber.

Will the above fit a '76 D44 with out any modifications? I have seen a few threads on this subject and I am lost. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I have a D44 on mine and I only had to do 2 very slight mod's. I had to shorten the banjo bolts about an 1/8" and ream the hole out for the banjo bolt out to 7/16", other than that it works great /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Any one try this? Sounds easier than messing with the banjo bolt and reaming the lines. The 10 bolt calipers bolt right up to the D44?

Yes they do. They're cheap as well.
