Built a Jeep. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif First time I ever did a coil suspention.
Did a 3" HD Terra Flex lift 16" wheels & goodyear MTR tires.
Thought it turned out pretty nice.
But it still wont hill climb as good as my K5. I can still own his a$$ off road /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
The poor thing has no power /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Typical jeep junk)
The 4.0 six is pretty anemic. The next project is to undergo ol Thunder"s magical FI Hp up grades... Mu Haa Hhaaa Haaa......
But I'd rather drop in a 350 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Bling! Bling!
I didn't doo that. just the Lift, Tires, and winch. I talked the kid into ditching the 4 on the top. told him He needs to loose the rack too but he likes it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Its like Gee... If you need room to put things... BUY A K5! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Its a little too top heavy for my tastes. It would be flat scary with a bunch of gear on top. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif If the kid will listen to me and quit hanging stuff all over it he will end up with a nice 4x4.
It is way better than it was with the stock suspention. With the extra weight the stock stuff was almost bottomed out. After spending the weekend under a jeep and all the money the guy spent on it I was not that impressed with it when we took it out and tested it in the hills. I have to say no thanks
I'll take my K5 over a Heep any day /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I guess the key word was "kid". He'll eventually learn. At least he's headed the right direction instead of driving a 4 banger import with a chrome Folgers fart can exhaust, 1400 stickers, and a giant wing on the back....
