ok, so this is a painfull, almost embarrasingly noob question, but im just curious.

all 8 lug bolt patterns are the same right?

so in terms of dually extentions on front axles, would there be a degree of interchangeability?

IE could D60 dually extentions bolt to 8 lug D44 hubs?? I know the lockout assembly is larger on the D60, so the D44 extention would kind of "float" in the hole. But is that critical? does the fit there need to be tight? making the extention a load bearing body?

Im ok with a D44 front strength wise, but those DRW adaptors are as rare as hens teeth. D60 adaptors are like fleas on a dog. So if they would bolt up, i dont see why i wouldnt use em.

Anything other than a Super Duty uses the same pattern, Super Duty junk is different (metric).

As for the dually adapters on a king pin D60, they are cast as part of the bearing hub itself and not removeable.

It's not that the king pin style wont fit, it's not removeable.

As for the ball joint axles, the only one I know of that's removeable is the Super Duty which will have the wrong bolt pattern.

what you want to do is not possible.

and running a drw setup on a 10 bolt or dana 44 would be much past not real usefull. and bearings/shafts/brakes/wheel studs are all much smaller.

if you just want to run h1 hummer rims get them recentered.

Are you looking to run dually adapters for stock h1's or something? Im curious why you need a dually width d44?

just grabbin at straws, i should probably stop asking these questions lest i risk becoming a nusance. ive pretty much already figured i need 1 tons, im just a cheap ass and dont wanna shell out the dough for a D60 front.

but yes, im looking to run H1 beadlocks, dont want spacers, and dont way to pay labor/shipping to have the rims recentered.

in any case, i was just bored and tossin out dumb ideas. forgive me, i havent slept sence 7am on tuesday.....so im a bit...off.

No big deal, you seem to have found your issue. Luckily, most ppl want SRW D60's, so the DRW ones tend to be a little cheaper.

That is the way to do it though. You can always run regular , non beadlock rims in teh front until you can afford the dually axle......

Lol I'm telling you man you dont want, h1 weight, plus runflats, and inserts on a halfton axle with the big tires ontop of it.
