Looking at a Donor truck

I'm considering buying a Donor Truck to build my '90 K5. It's an '85 SRW 1Ton. D60/14FF 454/465/205 with a lift. What Parts could be swapped over? I know there would be issues with the BB and the 205, but could the lift be used?

all swap easy including big block. 2 ways for rear axle. move mounts and reweld or use 1 ton hangers. plus shorten the shaft in the rear to fit k5.

Get rid of the K5 and keep the K30. The K30 is worth its weight in gold more than the K5.

1. I want the extra seating so Reg Cab is out.
2. Bent frame so K30 Frame is out.
3. K30 cab is rotted to hell.
4. Perfect for swap to by beloved K5.

Swap it all over. Even the hydro-boost. Just relocate the perches and mounts on the rearend to fit the K5 chassis and call it done.

ditch the 700r4, use the 465/205.

You'd have to build the heck out of the 700r4 to make it live behind a 454.
You already have all the linkages and pedals so use them.
