looking for a 4x4 truck

prefer a 73-78, maybe a 79-87 if price is right. Single cab, longbed (maybe short if the dollars right), dont need a perfectly straight body (i dont mind a little rust), but needs to be somewhat decent for a driver. the heavier duty 350 for the power plant (divorced choke), i prefer non ac trucks.

I am truly looking for a untouched original truck, french locks on the exhaust, stock quadrajet, interior, axles, etc. Probably around 75ish thousand miles but if it has more and its original dont be scared to let me know. Hard to find anything that hasnt been modified or lifted or abused. Dont mind a drive, but id prefer it to be somewhat local.

Might be interested in a k5 or burban in the sameish condition.
 
i have a 84 k5 with a new crate 350. edelbroc intake. 760 holly carb. racing camshaft. headman headers 700 turbo tranny. 205 transfer case. all new with less then 700 miles. 6 in lift. 35 in boggers. im really in need to sell this ill give it to you for 3800... [email protected]
 
i have 2 chevrolet k30 4x4's. they are the CUCV's. m1008 and m1028. single cab single rear wheel. M1008 has 53K mile, the m1028 has 23k. both 6.2 diesel, th400 trans, 208 transfer case. 60 front 14 rear 4.56 gears , detroit in the back, open front on the m1008 and trac lok front on the m1028. pretty straight and no rust through, just a little surface rust. asking $3500 and $3800 respectively and offers are welcome. pm me your email and i can send you some pics

Nice to see this topic is still alive. Hoping for a gasser 73-78, but ill consider anything.
 
Any chance of interesting you in a '79 K30 4door 4x4? It seems to be origonal except for the 454 motor but you an't tell it's not origonal,it was done right. Has A/C though.

$1400 takes it.

might be, single rear wheel? Ill pm you my email if you have any photos. Always wanted a club cab but really no need. I assume dana 60 front corp 14 rear if a single wheel? what trans and t case?

If i had some spare cash and room and looking for a project, that things perfect, just not what im needing right now. Got a line on a 73-87 shortbed fleet 4x4 for 300 bucks, some rust, but a v8/auto, probably a np208 if its an 80s truck, but needs a flexplate/flywheel (whatever you choose to call it, propers flexplate for an auto but i always say flywheel) so im going to go see what its all about. Flywheels just dont go out ya know :confused:
 
Usually its someone who didnt put it in right, or just a fault. Bad material or something? Ive never heard of any of them failing other than my brothers 68 chevelle, and thats only becuase jo flunky dropped a 327 in place of the six and had no idea what he was doing, and we bought his basket case right.
 
guy could never find a title on the 79 4x4, and ended up being a longbed half ton, only wanted 300 but without a title i wasnt interested.

I have a 85 swb fleet good body 1 small rust thru spot under driver side cab corner has surface rust not beat up will run with some carb cleaning

$600 have title
