Im about to put a new frame under my 88 k5 and I was thinking about doing the 52" spring swap for the front and a shackel flip for the rear. and doing some reinforcing on the new frame before installing it.

So i was wondering about the opinions of those who have done the 52" swap and shakle flip (also do you have to change to crossover steering and lose the sway bar or can you just get ORD's quick disconnect kit) and where else to strengthen the frame (other than steering box area and boxing in the frame horns)

Thanks for the help guys
Champ.

don't runa sway bar, never do! You will be better off with the crossover, the stock steering is to limiting on travel.
