Looking into getting an IFS Daily Driver

Shouldn't have to. Unless the bars have sagged from the stock height you should clear both just fine. The air damn under the bumper will need a bit of a trim and the tires might rub inside of the fender wells in the back if you flex the wee out of it. Nothing bad.

I've seen folks make 33's and 35's fit on them and it was really nothing but cutting.

Awesome. Going to look at one tommorow. One owner and very well maintained. Hopefully it works out.

Yeah, I consider myself lucky down here. I have seen some trucks with rust down here but i would hate to have to put up with some of the stuff that yall do up there.

around here, I see more rusty 1999 and 2000 chevy trucks than 96-98 for whatever reason. Maybe I just dont pay attention sometimes who knows.

Ive had a 1996 for years...it ran great with almost no problems other than a leaky intake man. gasket until about 150k and then it was just one thing after the other.

The fuel pumps are an issue ive heard off, and it was true for me too. I am on the 3rd one right now.

I just yanked the old engine, for a new GM replacement crate. The old one wasnt bad, but i love this truck and wanted the peace of mind without a car payment. Also i now have a 3yr/100k mile warranty on my engine.

Mine clears 33x12.50's with tons of room on a 4"suspension lift. It drives and feels great and gets decent mileage.

I don't have a pickup truck, but my 99 Yukon has nearly 150k of not so nice miles (at least with me:doah::D) and still runs like a top. Doesn't leak a drop, doesn't burn a drop, the only thing it uses is coolant when it's cold. As the motor warms up, the gasket or seal swells up and stops the leak, so I don't worry about it. And, according to my friends, hauls a$$:D

I cranked my t-bars enough to make it ride level with no load, and that alone put on hold my plans to lift it. Currently, I have 265/70-17's with 17x9 wheels, but when this set wears out, I'm going to go with a skinny tire on a narrower rim, like say, 245/(75-80)-17 on a 17x7 wheel, to make the ground contact patch smaller. Smaller patch=less resistance=more economy, hopefully. Well see how it goes. I'm hoping I can find a 245 tire that is the same diameter as the 265's (~32") to keep the speedo correct.

There is a link in my sig to pics of my Yukon.:wink1:
