lowering shackles for lift?

i have a cheap shackl flip (cut out bottom of hanger). would lowering shackles make it so i could run 56's? my rig is '76 400/350/203/D44 14FF .

it will work thats what im running just make sure u brace them up real good with either pieces of tubing in the middle or weld in some plate on the sides. with weight on the frame i should have a perfect shackle angle, right now i have a very good angle and with weight it will get alot better. i used sky's flip kit and 56'' stock springs with a 6.5'' shackle.
