LQ9 mated to 700R4???

I am puttin a crate motor in my blazer soon. Jegs has the LQ9 at a good price compared to other crate motors, plus it's fuel injected. But, will it mate to a 700r4? I know these mount in front of the 4l60e which is an electronic 700 so it 'should' work, right?

Physically all Chevy motors since the mid 50's and sixes since the early 60's share the same bellhousing bolt pattern , so that parts fine .

I have no idea about the electronics part , but if its a stand alone system then the tranny wouldn't matter . A good question for the injection section .

do you know if the engine comes ready to run with a computer and harness? It doesnt really tell you much on the website
