Doing a 6.0 swap into an '85 k30. I've already got a new '87 fuel tank with baffles and I ordered a sending unit for the same truck.

I was under the impression that the fuel ports in the sending unit would have a threaded fitting that I could adapt to AN lines.

The sending unit I got just has barbed fittings for rubber hose. Does anyone have a part number or other option for this?

I'm sure this info is here somewhere but I can't find it for the life of me.

Yes, the pickups apparently didn't get threaded fittings. Only the K5/Suburbans. I assume that has something to do with the passenger compartments and location of the fuel tanks.

Not sure how you get around it, can the fittings be flared for -AN?

I've got a FAST EZ EFI install write up. If your sending unit uses the O-ring fittings, you can use the same adapters I did. They will go to AN -6 IIRC FYI: The TBI pump ain't got enough gumpshun to run 58psi. Put a camaro TPI ACDelco pump in. Hooks up the same

EDIT: Just saw the difference. Can you try a blazer sending unit, even an old one, to see if the sealing size/lock plate is the same? Drop one in and adjust the height of the pump pick up and float

check out @Kay86K5 CC Build

Edit- Here ya go

I figured you were out hunting. :wink1: So in the meantime I did some research and it looks like a TBI sender from an 87 K5 will fit my 20 gallon tank and it already has flare, more correctly o-ring, fittings.

I like this setup because it provides an additional overflow port on the sender for running a feed line from the other tank.

The second listing is for a saddle tank. Was not paying attention to picture. My Bad

But in my quote above @mrk5 talks about using a 20 gallon K5 TBI sending unit in a saddle tank with those fittings.
