Lucky # 7de7 Sold

We dismounted two of the old tires off the rims. and mounted one Toyo...with tire irons.
I`m getting old that sucked! :doah: Those Toyos have the stiffest sidewalls of any tire I`ve played with.

Going to take the other three to my buddys shop and use his machine.
I need two new valve stems and one of the tires has got three screws in it! :haha:

Them tires with that built in rim guard are pretty well impossible to mount by hand, found that out on my fierce on the 97.

Heard there's some updates....focker

We have been driving this pile almost everyday on the farm...we like it. It starts and runs good, didn't stop good though.

The back brakes were out of adjustment bad, I could move the adjusters side to side 3/4 of an inch. I got the passengers side adjusted easy the driver side was seized. So pulled the axel and the drum... used a punch on the spindle nuts. Got the adjuster free and working. Put it back together but i was not going to use a punch for reassembly. :doah: Texted my buddy to see if he was home so i could borrow his socket.
He took to long to reply so I made my own out of a Toyota socket i had.

Worked perfect! Haven`t driven it yet today but its got a nice firm peddle now!
The best thing about this truck is that it is fun to scrounge around my parts and fix everything for free without me even leaving the yard! :thumb:

Today's fun included A seat out of a 81 that I had stored in my basement "Needs a seat cover" But doesn't smell like mouse piss! And it tilts forward, plus it's cloth not hot or cold vinyl.
Dug out a set of caps, and last week I put on some matching white mirrors I had in my shed... good glass in them too!

Me and Colby cut that nasty winch mount off on sunday. Ran out of oxygen so we used a cut off wheel... not fun.

Yeah I got lots of good parts here. Glad I hung on to Gangrene too It still has a bunch of things it can donate. :thumb:

The front frame horns where that winch mount was welded on is nasty and chopped up that c10s frame is good up there. Lots of grinding to do...then I`ll get Colby to weld the front parts back on.
