Starts at about 7:30pm Pacific Time... Full Eclipse...
What parts of the country will be able to see it?
Heres a good link
I believe its visible for the whole US, not sure if its total on the east coast.
Thanks Larry, my 4 year old just loves the moon....
Dont know how close you are to Griffith park observatory but they will have a public viewing with lots of scopes available.
Most of the east coast will get to see the whole thing...
Possibly even better than the west coast...
I used a set of binoculars and it was really cool...
I stayed to see it. I missed the actual total eclipse but I saw a good bit of the rest of it. Very cool! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Couldn't see nothing becouse of the cloud coverage. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
Wow, that was cool. The moon looked so low here, and 3D. Just like a volleyball hanging in the sky. It was wild looking for sure. It looked so low that a plane could actually hit it because it appeared so close. Neat stuff! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
YA! You said it just right! That's exactly what it looked like and I saw a lot of planes flying around last night who looked just like they could run into it. Must have looked neat from an airplane... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
