Mark: those boats were incredible...the two on the floor run two engines that are over 1,000cid a piece...:)

My kinda power to weight ratio!:D

im not being an ass, but im not impressed at all, when we had the luxury show here it was insane compared to that,

not to mention every car on the floor in your pics you can see at a stop light in north scottsdale. Drive around kierland shopping center here, one day in the same intersection were two sunburst orange lambo's..crazy

still cool pics but not much to look at, was it a smaller show? how come so few venders?

Yeah, you're being an a$$. And your negativity was uncalled for  .

Gee, you must be a blast at the Nar-Anon meetings......

Yeah...I don't know what they start with to get there...maybe its something out of an airplane (the block) in order to get that much displacement...I remember seeing a couple guys use the blocks out of WWII airplane engines that were in the 1,000cid+ range...

Its ok if he wasn't impressed...I know in the malibu area its the same way...every stop light has $1 million worth of cars sitting at it :) But at the same time I don't know what else there really is for a "luxury" auto show...lambos, porsche, ferrari, aston martin, bentley, RR, benz, bmw, etc...those are basically it.

well that is why I made the comment the way I did and also asked if it was a smaller show. so nope not being an a$$ at all.

in the midwest it may impress the hell out of people, however like I mentioned when you can see two of the same color lambos at the same intersection...kind of kills the wow factor. If they were custom exotic cars..then that might grab some attention.

the other point, the car show appeared to be more about pimping basic products from a few dealers, why would I go to a show to see cars I see in parking lots everyday or at dealerships I drive right past? The custom trucks with hugs for sale signs in gay as hell, rather then use the show to display their products and services they use it to sell a damn truck.. ruins it for me just like when i see a car at a car show with for sale signs on its seats or in the window..

if the show was a smaller show and not hyped to be more that thats great..if its the other way around then thats gay. if anything the rv's and other actual products to be displayed should have been on the floor. not a bunch of stock cars that most people with a brain would never buy at a trade/product show anyways. those would have all been great entrance and driveway pieces.

they have a show here called the mens luxery toy expo or something like that.

what makes it cool is that they have eveything from the nicest cars, boats, cycles, trucks, 4x4s, quads, sand rails, bbq grills, tv's. home theater, suits, houses, rc cars, furniture, cool unique comfort and toys. billiards, vave runners, base jumping info, small private jets and planes, custom car, cycle, audio, paint.... every thing a damn person with money would want for the luxury of life..

just stock autos..people can simply go to the dealerships, when your talking fancy cars..you will notice the dealerships with them are all in the same general area or part of town..why? same reason there are more banks in scottsdale than mesa..its where the money and people with it are!

The exotic car dealerships are a couple miles away from eachother and they are a little different...the one that is on a super busy main street here in town has anything exotic...convert. lambos, ferraris, etc. and the other shop is tucked away from the main streets (you have to be going there...its not like you just drive by and notice it like the other shop) and they deal more in luxury vehicles...high end benz', bentleys, bmw's, etc...

Plus they just put them indoors b/c thats the safest place to lock up millions of dollars woth of cars (its a multiple day show)...the majority of the stuff was outdoors...

Ahem :doah: .

You just don't get it, do you.... ?

hmm, the indoor comment makes sence..

no night security?:D

haha I don't think I'd want to leave those kinds of cars outside with a rent-o-cop on a golf cart patrolling the grounds ;)

when i visited slc, utah a couple summers ago i was surprised how many exotic and expensive cars there were. i mean there are a lot of nice cars in the houston area, but slc was the first place i saw six bentleys, two sl500's, three hummers (two h2's, one h1) and a lambo all in the same intersection. i mean it's salt lake city not beverly hills. not to mention that the lotus dealership was right next to the lowrider shop in what the guys there called the ''ghetto". i didn't really see anything ghetto about it, but then again i do live in a small town that is filled with lowrent apartments and trailers. Here a 300c is considered insane.

They are called "The Duke" or a "Duck".:D
