Hello All,
I am in the market for a dual purpse trailer: needs to work for expedition-like 4x4 camping and also be able to hold 2 motorcycles (not on the same weekend

).

Has anyone seen an M416 used for motorcycles? I know I will need one with a tailgate. My primary concern is if it will be wide enough.

Thanks!

I personally don't think it'll be wideenough, unless you are talking about lil 100cc or something.

Nope, 2 fullsize bikes. I have heard that the width is 38" - seems like it will be tight to me also. I might need to build a box to try unless I can find one or someone that actually has attempted this.

I hate to say it but from the pictures I saw on the internet I don't think that the M416 is going to be big enough......

What bikes are you planning on putting in it?

I have a 2003 KTM 525EXC and a 99 TE610 Husky. The Wife has a BBR 120. We usually just take the KTM and BBR but I want a trailer that can handle 2 fullsize bikes.

I found a local place that will make m416 copies with any mod you choose including width :thumb:
