I have a 77 K5 with the 350 and 700R4/4L60 out of a 1994 half ton (prev owner swapped). I will be installing the DIY4x alum dash soon and I was going to switch to Autometer Cobalt Digital gauges. I have no clue what parts I need for the engine to send electric signals instead of mechanical signals.

I will be modding engine soon but need to install supporting mods first. What are the fuel pumps will fit in the 1994 sending unit?

MORE QUESTIONS TO COME

How do you figure that you have a '94 sending unit?
The gauges should come with sensors for oil pressure and water temp. (At least they used to..)

So does it have TBI then?
That's a common swap / upgrade.
The only factory TBI blazer was 1987-1991.

Cool!
When you get to installing the gauges, you will need to see where the oil pressure gauge is getting signal. The factory '77 gauges are electric , so there will be just wires , if it is original. You will need to make sure that you don't disconnect anything that is tied to the TBI system . There should be a water temperature sensor in the intake, next to the thermostat housing .

Ok awesome, and do you know the specs for the pump? Ive googled everything and I havent been able to find anything.

My 76 has a mechanical oil pressure sending unit. At least, I think it does. It's a tube full of oil that attaches to the gauge. And it leaked all over the place.

Sorry, but I don't know that, or where to point you to .

I am fairly confident that '76 was the last year for mechanical oil. IIRC, '75 was the last year for ameter, '76 was last year for mechanical oil gauge. '77 first year all electric. Found this out through a friend years ago.

Nope, '77 was still mechanical oil pressure gauge. '78 went electric and the clusters were basically the same operation until the electric speedo in '90.

Well, see how my memory is??
But I only missed it by a year! Lol!

Ah ok, that's the non-E. So it must have a VSS installed inline of the speedo cable? If that 700r4 also has an np208 on it, you can replace it with a '90-'91 np241 with the VSS setup. I don't think you would have to mess with the driveline at all.
