I'm looking into Mastercraft Courser M/T or C/T tires in a 35x12.50R15. Any experience with these? I want something decent off-road with good highway manners. Not a DD. I saw a new set of C/Ts mounted on a local :k5: for sale. Though less aggressive, still looked good.

I know that many local tire shops carry Mastercraft, but I haven't priced everywhere yet. I've found the M/Ts at my hometown big rig tire shop for $180 each, just having him price me a cheap "mud tar" by phone from his supplier.

These will be going on factory '88 rallies for now. Then probably a 15x10 Eagle 589 or M/T Classic II rim.

If nay, then what's your opinions on something comparable? Similarly priced.:dunno:

Thanks

I believe bridgestone is the brand my friend has on his jeep. Awesome tires for how cheap they are. Plus i've watched him beat the crap out of them.

If your looking for cheap treads that have good road manners.. check out the Hankook Dynapro's. I have their metric 35's on my rig.. love them. Very quiet, and they seem to do really well off pavement. I've got around 4500 miles on them now.

I paid $192 a tire mounted and balanced.. and I think the 315/75r16's are more than the run of the mill 35x12.50r15.

Great tires. I've had 2 sets personally. My friends have jeeps and run them also. for the price they're awesome IMO

I would so jump at the chance. It's probably what i'll go with on my '80 after i lift it. ;)
