I like my E12000. I don't know if I'd buy an ES12000.
I bought my E12000 over a year ago. Paid $700 to my door with a snatch block.
I cut 20' off the cable and fixed the inherent flaw: not enough room on the drum for 100' of cable.
I've never stalled it. Even with two batteries the winch will pull the voltage down so far that the solenoids will disengage. If you keep your finger on the button the voltage will go back up and then engage... then disengage... you get the idea.
Usually by the time the winch gets warm to the touch both of my batteries are taxed anyway.

I would MUCH rather have that for that price than a WARN, or any other for that mater. And yes, I still cary a "More Power Puller" just incase it fails, but I haven't had to use the puller yet
