I am relatively new around here and I don't know if this idea has been presented before. In perusing the forums I see multiple "build" threads. Some of these are quite lengthy and lots of good info. I see most of these threads in The Garage forum. It seems that it would be advantageous to all if we had a forum dedicated to "builds" so that this information is easy to find and is kept somewhat organized. Just an idea. Let me know what you think.

I don't know, If a message board gets too many forums, the extra forums start getting neglected, and people will still keep going to the most popular forums. I kind of like seeing a new build start up while browsing the "The Garage."

I know this has been talked about before and if I remember correctly the consensus is that's what the new blogs are for. So the idea is guys will either do build threads in the garage (where most of the traffic is), in a vehicle specific sub-forum (like the 1st gen, suburban, ifs, '73-'91, etc.) or in their personal blog here on the site.

my vote is no. i would never check that "build" forum. keep it here. just my 2c

i vote no. i tried doing that on another forum and didn't get a single hit. it wasn't helpful at all!

:haha: funny. :wink1:

i guess everything is for sale for the right price... it just happens that the right price is way higher than it's worth! :D
