Hey guys, iv been on here for a while reading everthing! I dont post cause i have to wait till i get back home to start working on my blazer but i do have a Q. And the day i get back i will be a new member to the site. I just have to say that this site is great!! Ok so im in peru with my wife for two years and i live in arkansas i left my 89 blazer with my mom thinking she would take good care of it cause iv been fixing it for a while, ive had it for maby 3 years now and i just love it. Ok so far she has broken the rear drive shaft and the right side door is crushed in. now when i left it was in perfect condition. Now she tells me she has not been starting it and she doesnt want to mess with it. So im kinda stuck. I just wanted to know what would happen to the motor.I put fuel mix stuff in the tank so the fuel would not go bad but thats it. thanks for any help

Turn it over by hand, if thats ok, change all fluids, prime the oil system if you can, do a MAJOR tune up, turn key to run position without trying to start it. Do you hear the fuel pump run? If so start it up.

women drivers...:haha: (JUST KIDDING to the women members)

it should be fine as said try to crank over by hand, and squirt a couple of drops of oil inot the cylinders before you do that and let it soak for a bit.

My K5 sat for 3.5 years in a outdoor storage in Tacoma WA while I was in Japan. After a basic tune up/fluid change it fired right up. Only thing I had to complain about was the d*mn moss growing on my window seals and felt.:D
