What is a pierogie?
Used to cut them down the middle like a baked potato and slap in a giant slab of cheese and nuke em'......

Boiled, then sauteed? in heavy cream and onions. Perhaps boiled then fried in butter would be good too. Now I know what I am having for dinner tomorrow!
Get them fresh at a Polish Deli ( Stanley's in PHX ) , and fry them with some slices of fresh Hungarian in the pan ..... OMG I love my heritage
Wife just said the proper way to cook them is to "par-boil" them, then fry them in extra virgin olive oil. Sprinkle lightly with garlic salt when finished, and enjoy.
