Damn i wish i wouldve seen it just saw pics on the news...
Yeah, looks like a somewhat minor event. I wonder if it's gonna go boom.
yea i guess it was kinda minor.. Looked pretty big from the pictures. but i guess they are just calling it a "Steam Eruption"
My dad has pictures of our front yard covered in ash from the first eruption (before i was born)
We go fishing up at Swift Resivoir every May, He said that they closed it for some 4 years after the eruption. But when they went back in 84, he said that the trout AVERAGED 16 inches... they were pulling in 20"+ trout all day...
We had about 6" of ash on the cars back in 81 when that puppy blew.
I'm more concerned about the super caldera sitting under Yellowstone. Lot closer to Colorado.
anyone have pictures? We talked about it a bit in socials last sememester, never knew much more after that...
check katu.com they might have some
Wow, post pics if you can.
cant remember how to post them.. check that out though
Was running at a track up in Northeast Portland when it let go..............talk about stopping people in their tracks! Very cool...........
they had an ash fall alert until 9pm last night, havent seen any yet, my dad found a good use for that ash the first time it blew, he used some to shine up some old chrome wheels
